I've made two autograph quilts (see below) for my daughter's grade--one for each class. It is turning out better than anticipated. The reality is that the three quilts MAY bring in $250 or so dollars for the school. Spending twice the amount of time doing things a little better will not increase this profit.
My tombstone will read: "the most average person in the world." Since I represent the average, I find humor anything and everyone . . . including myself.

Auction Quilts
Of course I did not use time over Christmas break to work on (better stated . . . "To start on") three quilts I am making for our schools auction. Last weekend I pieced all three quilt tops. The handprint quilt I make for my pre-kindergarten class. My goal is that it brings in more money than I spent on it.

My husband always uses a phrase which I really cannot stand, but which fits this situation--"It is what it is."
